Knee problems can lead to major health problems for a person. Not just in terms of pain, but the limitations of activities that have the most negative effect on the body. Lack of activity eventually leads to deconditioning, depression, possible weight gain and increased degeneration. Almost every organ system is challenged as we go down this path. Heart, lungs, colon, bone density… nothing gets better with inactivity.
